As the economic downturn continues to persist throughout the country, there has been a significant shift in consumer behaviour, as they opt to repair their existing products rather than purchase replacements. Therefore, repair and maintenance related industries are inclined to flourish during recessionary times.
The home repair and maintenance sector offers participants the opportunity to avail of the substantial financial benefits which can be derived from domestic repair and maintenance activities. Individuals that attain the competence to undertake Plumbing, Electrical, Tiling and Painting and Decorating works will be in a position to make savings in respect of their own repair and maintenance costs and they may also be able to generate revenue by completing repair work for external parties.
Chevron Training has developed a Home Repair and Maintenance course which fuses comprehensive theoretical knowledge with practical repair skills to ensure that learners are proficient in the application of Plumbing, Electrical, Tiling and Painting and Decorating skills in the real life scenarios.
Purpose
Equip learners with the knowledge and skills to apply home repair and maintenance skills to real life scenarios.
