Chevron College’s Terms & Conditions
Due to demand, our training courses are normally booked out 2 weeks in advance of the course commencement date. Our cancellation policy requires that in the event of a participant needing to cancel their booking, a request is received in writing by Chevron College no later than 30 days prior to the commencement date of the particular course signed up to. Receipt of any written request less than 30 days prior to course commencement will not be facilitated, as Chevron College will have insufficient time to fill that place.
Where a student books within 30 days of the start date of the course, the student can cancel their booking within 24 hours of making the booking.
Chevron College is agreeable to defer a course place for a period of up to 3 months if a difficulty arises where a student cannot undertake the training on the dates booked. We require written notices at least 7 days prior to course commencement to facilitate this.
All exam bookings that are rescheduled at the request of the student will incur a 30 euro admin charge.
All refunds will be subject to a 30% handling fee.
There are no refunds available in respect of any discounted courses or where courses are on special offer.
Request for refunds for online courses must be made in writing within 14 days of booking. Once an online course has been accessed we cannot grant a refund.
Should a learner fail to complete their QQI modules by the appointed deadline, when completing the QQI modules as part of the BA, there commencement of the UEL modules will be delayed until the next term, subject to completing the QQI modules by the deadline date that exists for the reschedule term.
All refund requests should be emailed to dave@chevrontraining.ie
Please note that when you choose Chevron College’s Monthly Instalment Plan, you are entering a legally binding contract for which you will be personally liable. Payments are made on a monthly basis and not for separate modules and therefore each monthly payment must be paid on the same day each month. A late or non payment invalidates this arrangement and to continue with the course the outstanding balance must be paid within two weeks of missed date. If you decide to cancel your enrolment you can do so if you confirm this in writing to Chevron College within 10 days of your enrolment date. You will, however, lose the value of your first payment.
Where a requirement exists for a learner to undertake a work placement in order to complete a training course offered by Chevron College, it is the responsibility of the learner to source such a placement. The learner must arrange all details pertaining to the work placement including:
- Selection of an appropriate organisation or setting for the work placement
- Liaising with the placement provider to organise the specifics of a work placement including duration, working hours, terms and conditions and reporting requirements
Please note for Higher Educational programmes are subject to non-refundable €500 deposit
